Located in the heart of Maputo City, Young Gemynds School was one of the pioneer schools, imparting English education to the Portuguese-speaking children. Ours is a modern, private school affiliated to the Calvert School, Maryland, United States of America.
Our courses are University preparatory and we provide a tremendous amount of counseling to our students both in preparation for graduation and college/university admittance. All students are assessed as to their English proficiency and placed into the curriculum accordingly.
We provide an educational experience designed to promote the maximum potential of our students. The school challenges and assists students to become intellectually adept, thoughtful and moral contributors to a global society. Apart from regular academics the school lays emphasis on sports and various other extra-curricular activities.
